The World Championships in Kigali deliver one of the toughest elite women’s courses in recent memory, with 164.6 km and 3350 metres of climbing. Defending champion Lotte Kopecky is absent, leaving the rainbow jersey wide open for rivals. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, Demi Vollering and Elisa Longo Borghini lead the charge, while Kim Le Court carries the hopes of Africa.
