Tour of Britain Women 2025 - Stage 1

Stage 1 is a short but punchy opener that starts in Dalby Forest on the edge of the North York Moors. The route heads north via two categorised climbs — Blakey Ridge (6km at 4%) and Langburn’s Bank (2km at 5%) — which will shape the early mountains classification. After an intermediate sprint at Newton-Under-Rosebury, the race speeds towards a fast finish in Redcar.
