Mathieu van der Poel won the final stage of the 2026 Tour de France after attacking with Tadej Pogačar on the last ascent of Montmartre and holding off the chasing peloton in a dramatic finish. Pogačar secured his fifth Tour title, finishing 6 minutes and 26 seconds ahead of Remco Evenepoel, with Isaac del Toro third overall. Mads Pedersen won the green jersey, Richard Carapaz claimed the polka dot jersey and Del Toro took the white jersey.
