Demi Vollering completed a stunning comeback to win the 2026 Giro d’Italia Women, taking the maglia rosa from Anna van der Breggen on the final stage. She attacked on the Colletta di Brondello, bridged to the front group and secured enough time to seal overall victory, while Elisa Longo Borghini won the stage in Saluzzo. With the Giro title, Vollering joined Annemiek van Vleuten as the only riders to win all three modern women’s Grand Tours.
