Elisa Balsamo won stage 6 of the 2026 Giro d’Italia Women in Brescello, claiming her fourth victory of the race after a strong Lidl-Trek lead-out. The mostly flat 160-kilometre stage was briefly disrupted by echelons and a late solo attack from Giorgia Serena, but the sprint teams kept control. In a technical finale marked by a crash inside the final kilometre, Lucinda Brand delivered Balsamo into position before the Italian powered to another sprint win.
